Appointment Type – Biometric Enrolment

• You have 30 days from the date of this letter to present yourself at a VFS biometric collection service point to give your biometrics.
• Biometric appointments are free of cost. Beware of anyone who asks for payments for booking an appointment slot.
• Please be very careful while uploading your details in the webform. Your appointment;

  a) date and time will be allocated on a first come first serve basis
  b) is non-transferable and information once updated cannot be changed
  c) may not be entertained if the appointment letter details do not match with the Biometric letter issued by IRCC

• A biometric letter once used to book an appointment cannot be reused.
• In an event that you are unable to attend your biometric appointment at the allotted date and time, you will be blocked from requesting an appointment for 05 calendar days. After 05calendar days, you may raise a new request which will be served on a first come first serve basis.
• Owing to huge demand in Bangladesh the below requests are currently not available;

  a) request for earlier appointment dates
  b) request for re-scheduling of appointment
  c) request for cancellation of appointments

• Appointment letters will be sent from an e-mail id. with domain name info.canadabd@vfshelpline.com
• Individual appointments should be booked for each family member.
• Each applicant who requests for an appointment will get a separate e-mail with appointment details.
